Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams born August 20, 1974 in Aviano Italy American actor. Famous for her critically acclaimed portrayals of charming, innocent people. Adams was one of seven siblings who grew up when she was a kid in Colorado's Castle Rock. She was born while her father worked in the U.S. Military in Italy. The early 1990s were when Adams began performing and dancing professionally for the Boulder Dinner Theatre as well as the Country Dinner Playhouse. In Minnesota she was employed at a regional theater where her role was in Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) was a parody documentary about beauty magazines. Following her debut on screen as a cute but serious contestant she moved towards Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. She was the wife of actor Tony Curtis from June 1951 from September 1962 to June 1951 and the mother of Kelly Curtis and Jamie Lee Curtis. The the actress Norma Shearer Leigh secured a deal with MGM and began her career as a film actress during the latter half of 1940s. Leigh was a star in a variety of films that became popular over the decade that followed, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (from the year 1960) and Living It Up (1954), starring Martin Lewis.
